Q : I am throwing a black and white party for a friend and I am dipping strawberries for her, it is supposed to be a surprise party and I am trying to see if I can make them before she gets here. Her She will be here on the 8th and the party is on the 11th. Will they hold that long?A : no they will not, decently anyway.
Dipped strawberries tend to weep and will get messy.
It is one of those things that should be done at the last minute.

How do you make chocolate covered strawberries at home?
Q : I want my chocolate to harden, whats the most simple way to make them at home?
A : Put your broken up chocolate or chocolate chips in a microwavable dish and heat on 50% power for 1.5 min. Stir and see if it is still chunky. If it is, put in back in the microwave for 1 minute on 50% power. Stir.
Grab strawberries by tops and dip into chocolate. Lay on parchment paper or aluminum foil. Let air dry. If still not dry, you may place them in the refrigerator to harden.
Eat and enjoy!

How would i keep chocolate covered strawberries cold for school?
Q : I am going to make some chocolate covered strawberries for my boyfriend since it is almost our anniversary, i will have to bring them to school so how will i get through the whole day without the chocolate melting? I want to put them in a plastic sandwich bag and put it in my bookbag but i think it'll get squished and melt. Any suggestions on how to bring them to school?
A : Try getting one of those square Glad containers that are about 2 or 3 inches deep. Ah, how many are you planning on taking? What time of day do you plan on giving them to him? See, that would determine your next plan. If you'll be giving them to him before school, then straight out of you fridge should be cold enough to keep the chocolate from melting. But, if it will be in the afternoon, you'll need to pack this container inside maybe a gallon zip-lock bag with a frozen freezer gel-pak to keep them cold. I hope you find an answer that will work for you. Peace
