Does any of the Ritter Sport chocolates have alcohol in the fabrication process?
Q : i heard that Rum Trauben Nuss contains alcohol or the raisin was put in alcohol .. is that correct? is there any other flavors that contains alcohol?A : No alcohol in their chocolates.

Why have Ritter Sport Rum Raisin & Hazelnut chocolate bars disappeared from my local retail stores?
Q : I used to be able to buy them locally at Woodman's, Copps, ShopKo, Target, etc. Now suddenly they are not available anywhere nearby! No one has them anymore. I am thinking maybe it has something to do with Wisconsin liquor laws, but I would really appreciate to know the truth before I have to order direct from Germany.
A : Ritter Sport changed the way that they labeled the Rum Raisin & Hazelnut expiration date because of the alcohol (which can evaporate). Instead of a 12 month shelf life, they're now labeled with less than a 6 month shelf life. Since they're imported, many stores now don't wish to carry them before it's too hard to make sure that they're sold before they expire (especially since the date is different from all the other products in the line).
I really liked that bar. You can definitely still get it in Europe and it's possible you can find it online at stores like GermanDeli.com.
Does anyone know where Ritter Sport Chocolate is sold?
Q : One of my friends is from Germany and gave me some of this chocolate. My favorite is the "Knusperkeks" or the chocolate covered biscotti, in the brown package. The company does not ship out of Germany so I cant get it from there. I live in Texas and I wanted to know if there are any stores that sell this chocolate and more specifically stores in Texas. -Thanks-
